THE ABSOLUTE GENERATION

THE ABSOLUTE GENERATION   by Abraham John

Part 1:
Privilege: You are where you are not because you choose to be there, not because they choose you to be there, but God chooses it to be like that. A purpose you must know, you are there to fulfill.

What a privilege? Many people say, but I wonder if they know what they are actually saying. I often work on the streets of Jos, and the kind of things I see, I marvel. People no longer regard their fellow human beings. They are who they are, yes they are. Many people look at people with no pity. I was heading home on a blessed day at night when a heavy hold up dashed in. I was wondering what could be the problem. But on reaching there it was just two people exchanging “words of pleasantry”. I wondered why is it that people have no heart of forgiveness, knowing that life is replica. They tend to forget that life is a breath in a hole. We live in a world were people do not feel the pains of the people around them, neither to even care what happen to their fellow man. We live in a world were people do not care to stop to see what has gone wrong, “that child weary in a corner”, a tear that can be wiped by one man. What else do we need to do the right thing in our society today? We are called.
A man lived in the looks and crannies of a bridge, starved and silent as not one soul had a pity on him. Thinking this man was not in his sense, no he was in his right sense until the unfortunate happen. An incidence took away his wife, three lovely and beautiful kids…they are all he had. All he had was he alone in the dark. In this dark he prayed, he prayed, prayed. It’s a life he never thought of living but this was the life he lived. Feeling rejected by the world, family and by the people that claim to love him, yes they claim to love but have no love “and because lawlessness will increase, the love of many people will grow cold. Matthew 24:12”. A love that supersedes all understanding is the love of Christ. This He wiped the tears in the face of men.

One day I saw this man. What touched me the most is this…there was this little girl who majestically walked up to him and said its ok, Jesus loves you and your best is yet to come. He was shocked and astonished. From that day till now he is living a fulfilled life, remarried with three beautiful kids. Yet again he said “God what a privilege”. All his life he never thought of such a day of his life or how beautiful or how God can turn sad beginnings into a glorious ending. His pass was a story, a history they can read all about it. What will your history tell in the papers when they write about you?

It’s the life we live today, no one says sorry when he wrongs his brother instead he breaks a standing relationship. The hearts of men now prefer the distance between families, friends and loved ones. It has grown cold. Yet I say it’s a privilege when I look at the streets and see the young talents that are been wasted in the dung’s of dirt’s, only trying to find a living. Its about time we got to play a version of our life event and see if we are really going to scream, sing or cry out the tears of the earth.
(Little child do not whip again for the light has shown in the dark. There is a light growing, as little as it may be. Your best is yet to come. The moon has shown but the sun is yet to shine).

Who are we to criticize when the time we were born into this world we never knew how. Who are we to boast of the life that was given to us by this very God that sustained us till this day as we read? God knows the reason why He say’s in the book of Matthew 5:44 “But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you” because He had made them be were they are for us to do something about it. The highest people with responsibility are Gods own chosen Christians. We are having a mandate to go into the world. For you to be born in a Christian home is a privilege for there are many born out of those homes and many who don’t even have a place to call home.

Making an illustration for better understanding. A man made an explosive device, looked around and took another man, ties the explosive around him. Now this man is just waiting for the time it is going to explode. Now you where chosen but for a different task which is to save that soul by finding how you can diffuse this explosive, if you don’t, he dies. Prior to this a manual came from the person who gave the formula, saying do this, follow this steps, though there may be some obstacles but don’t give up, save as much souls as you can.

Rick Warren in his book “the purpose driven life” said that his father, when he was on his sick bed and about to die. He was still struggling to get up. They asked him, were you going to, he said “one more soul to save”. This is the zeal he had to reach out to the unreached.
In a some earlier recent development and world tribulations across the world, we saw in one of the African countries, precisely Uganda.
July 16, 2013 (KAMPALA) - The Uganda Red Cross says 66,000 Congolese refugees have fled into the country following an outbreak of violence in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)

The above picture shows a large group of people. These are people, this are dreams, this are Gods creature. But have we ever asked why are they like this or in this situation. We are not far away from all this kind of situation, but we are chosen out of privilege to be were you are today.
Fellows, we would have been the ones in this kind of times but we are playing with the privilege and opportunities that God has given us to reach out to these vulnerable, parents, and children. See we might not reach there but our love for one another today, people around and the people more close to us are the ones we start with. Is there any one close to you who have no cloths, who have no food, who have no shelter, who have no home to call there own. This is the life we live, no one cares if his neighbor sleeps well, eats’ well and fear well. It’s a privilege for you to be were you are today. The friends we have today are also a big time investment either negative or positive. To have someone that tell you your wrong when you are wrong and complement you when you are right, it’s a privilege to have such. Many at times we tend to go for what the world demands, friends the world craves for. “If you can’t beat them, you join them” yet many are privileged to have parents who have instill good morals and teaching into us. What a privilege. John 3:16 “for God so loved the world that he gave His only son to died on the cross, that whosoever believes shall no perish but have eternal life”. Just to believe. It’s a privilege. We live yet in a world were people love and crave for the things that fade away instead of the eternal. It’s a privilege to know the truth yet we play with the truth and hide our conscious hearts. We live in a world were disasters happen in so many different countries. SEE this Below:

The Crying World
Refuges of Typhoon

The Crying Child (Trail of destruction):

In early November 2013, Typhoon Haiyan battered the Philippines. The storm killed more than 4,500 people and left about more than 4 million homeless. The typhoon - which had some of the strongest winds ever recorded on land - mostly flattened the port city of Tacloban.
Following the storm, donations from all over the world began streaming into the Philippines. And though most people are appreciative for the material help, many thank the Lord for surviving the storm.
Those who escaped the awesome power of Haiyan now face a grim battle to rebuild their lives among the sprawling wreckage, Desperate survivors of the devastating Philippines typhoon told how they had to steal from the dead to eat.
In the worst-hit areas, 235mph winds created 20ft waves that are thought to have killed between 10,000 and 15,000 and left 500,000 homeless after their houses were reduced to splinters.
The local churches have become the hubs of activity, both as evacuation centers and refuges for spiritual help.
Super-typhoon Haiyan struck with such force on Friday that entire villages were flattened, ships were swept inland and corpses were left hanging from trees.
Up to 4.3 million people have been affected

"You may not be where you want to be but you can look back and thank God you're not where you used to be  !!!"
In the eyes of men are the blankets of life and dead.
The tongue the smallest manifest of creation
A little friend a biggest investment
A little love can make a nation smile
Wonders, I wonder why the why the ocean smiles
Yes, remember her friends are there,
The sun wakes and smiles
Remember the children cry
Who is a true friend the nations try
The one that loves with an eternal love!!!
